It begins slowly. A morning by the sea, a coffee that takes as long as it takes. Someone tells you about a village up in the hills, and by afternoon you are there, being offered something to eat before you have said a word.

That is how Crete works. Hospitality here is not a service. It is a habit. A table gets set, a plate gets passed, and you find yourself two hours into a meal with people you met that morning.

Kissamos Bay is built around that rhythm. Your room is somewhere to rest. The island is where the days happen.
